Dr Alawieh is at least a three or four-fer for the Trump admin:
1) Foreign, Muslim-sounding name
2) Medical doctor, i.e., a scientist
3) University professor at a liberal institution of higher learning
4) High-profile, so there'll be lots of publicity about his deportation to make it seem Trump's getting stuff done
Meat for the MAGA base, a taunt for opponents of the illegal authoritarian Trump regime.

OK, so US gov’t payments will have fuckups, because shit happens. But given the rather sinister turn things are taking, and reports of SSA et al emptying bank accounts, if you get regular monthly payments, might want to think about this:

Open a new account for all your bills, etc. Let the gov’t payments continue to go into the old acct, but the second they hit, move that money out to the new acct. They want to empty the acct where the deposit went? Fine, the balance is zero.

Apparently, if you’re not a fan of corruption, authoritarianism, or whatever else he’s up to, you might just need “treatment.” (probably in one of Kennedy’s labor farms, after he outlaws antidepressants)
Honestly, I’m torn between laughing and checking if we accidentally elected a satire writing team to the legislature.
